FAMILY IS A FUNNY THING...

Somedays family feels like SUNSHINE on a RAINY day.  Everything around you could be falling apart, but thank God for FAMILY because they are everything you need.  And then, within the snap of your fingers, family can be the RAIN on a SUNSHINEY day.  Family can feel like the biggest torrential downpour you have ever experienced in your life! Family can hurt you like NOONE else in the world can and family can also put you back together again and love through anything you go through in life.

There is a freedom within families to love and to hate, to be full of joy and to be full of anger.  We show our emotions within our families openly and honestly, sometimes harshly and many times we take our families for granted in comparison to our friends. But with family...you just are ...  for better and for worse! With family, you always get forgiven, you always get another chance to get it right, you always get a "fresh start" and a "do-over" even when you don't deserve it.  Families are special like that.

Family is. 

Family is LOVE even when we don't like each other. 
Family is LOVE.

Family is SUPPORT even when we are mad at each other, you can still count on your family to come through...to give you a ride, help you with homework, lend you some money, go out with you for dinner and a movie just because you want to.
 Family is SUPPORT.

Family is HOPE because when you have lost yours, there is always someone who has some extra and they are always willing to share. 
Family is HOPE.

Family is LAUGHTER, especially at The Dunnigans.  Even when you are mad, there is someone in the family who cracks a joke and makes you smile or laugh even when you don't want to!
Family is LAUGHTER.

Family is LISTENING when you need to vent, when you are scared, and especially when you are sad. Family is LISTENING. 

Family is LISTENING when you are happy, when you received good news, when you just feel like talking and talking and talking because you drank too much caffine! 
Family is LISTENING.

Family is FORGIVING when people make you mad, when people aren't sorry, even when they screw up again and again and again. Family is second, third and fourth chances.  
Family is FORGIVING.

Family is FOREVER.  No matter where you go, what you do, who you are your family never changes.  They just are and for better or for worse you take your family with you every where you go even when you leave them at home, they will ALWAYS be in your heart.

I love my family on sunshiney days.

I love my family on rainy days too.

Bottom line...I love my family no matter what!
